2015 has seen change in the Education Portfolio and, as the next step, a realignment process has been discussed and agreed for the Student Services Division.

Key messages:

  • The new structure will ensure similar services are aligned and combining efforts for greater results.
  • A transition plan is being developed and the new structure will be effective on 1 December 2015.
  • All services currently offered to students will remain available and accessible under revised reporting lines.

This realignment will see the areas currently comprising the Student Services Division split as follows;

  • Student Support Services, the Medical Centre and Childcare Centre to report to Student Life Division Director, Chris Massey.
  • Student Systems to report to the Chief Information Officer, Assine George.
  • Student Administration to report to the Dean of Coursework Studies, Professor Grady Venville.
  • Student Communications and Engagement to report directly to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Education), Professor Alec Cameron.
