Earlier this week parts of UWA’s campus experienced a power outage due to a Western Power fault across the suburb, with power being out for a period of two-hours affecting certain communications functions and equipment.

Campus Management worked swiftly to deal with the unplanned fault by contacting staff in affected areas, providing on the ground assistance, and making sure lifts were unoccupied.

With power outages and grid failure being unpredictable, Campus Management urges staff to consider and review their plans for power disruptions.
