UWA will soon be unveiling a refreshed homepage design as part of the Future Students Digital project. This new look will embody the UWA brand and provide an improved experience for our digital visitors, especially prospective students and key external audience groups.

UWA’s homepage plays an important role in the student recruitment journey. It is often the first interaction prospective students have with the University so it is crucial that we make course and application information easily accessible and the experience as positive as possible.

The new homepage is due to go live in November 2015 and will include an engaging new design and an ability to search and apply for courses direct from the homepage.

Key messages:

  • The Future Students Digital project supports a greater recruitment strategy for the University.
  • The new homepage design was based on consultation with key stakeholders from across the University and recommendations from Precedent, the digital agency that assisted with the design.
  • One important feature of the new homepage is the ability to search and apply for courses directly from the homepage.
  • There has been broad consultation with students, staff and prospective students on the new design.

Further information about the Future Students Digital project is available on the Sustainable Futures website or from the Project Director, Grant Malcolm .
