If you are a young musician with a passion for making music and refining your craft, you don’t want to miss our 2015 Summer Music Academy. Enjoy five days of expert tuition, music ensembles and other fun activities while staying at the beautiful St George’s College.

Supported by outstanding nationally and internationally recognised conductors and tutors, the Academy aims to nurture musicianship and ensemble skills of tertiary and high school students through large and small ensemble rehearsal and performance.

Orchestral, band and keyboard streams are available and students can expect to participate in a range of challenging and enjoyable activities such as intensive rehearsals, masterclasses and workshops. Students will also enjoy choral training, general musicianship classes and a range of recreational activities.

Who: Secondary school and tertiary students aged 15-25 (AMEB Grade 5 or equivalent, or above)
When: Sunday 6 December to Friday 11 December
Where: Accommodation is provided at St George’s College, adjoining UWA.
Cost: $800 per student, which covers tuition and musical activities, five nights’ accommodation, all meals and social activities, including a formal dinner.
