Brand, Marketing and Recruitment and Admissions, both under the Community & Engagement Portfolio, have been successful in attracting new team members for new senior positions. These positions have been created to further the University’s standing in the marketplace, part of the University’s strategy to build a strong foundation for future growth and success.

The new positions in Brand, Marketing and Recruitment will report to the Chief Marketing Officer, Karen “Kcee” Carriero.

  • Trish Rechichi has been appointed to the role of Director, Future Students (Recruitment). The Future Students unit will bring together the recruitment operations for both international and domestic markets to achieve greater capability in our recruitment efforts. Trish begins on 26 October.
  • Peta Maddock has been appointed to the role of Director, Brand and Marketing. The Brand and Marketing team will build the brand equity of the UWA brand as well as develop marketing activities and campaigns to help attract and convert future student prospects. Peta begins on 2 November.
  • Aaron Collyer has been appointed Head of Digital and Creative. Digital and Creative Services will provide writing, design, web and digital outputs to meet the needs of the central recruitment and marketing team and the greater University. Aaron will also commence on 2 November.

The new position in Admissions will report to the DVC Community & Engagement, Kent Anderson.

  • Zoe Morrison has been appointed to the role of Associate Director, Admissions. Admissions brings together all aspects of the admissions process for both domestic and international students. The team is responsible for standardising admissions criteria, the core assessment of applications and the offer conversion process. Zoe begins on 9 November.
