EECE Professor Kit Po Wong and his team are the recipients of the 2015 Best Paper Award for the IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics for the paper entitled “Coordinated Control of Grid-Connected Photovoltaic Reactive Power and Battery Energy Storage Systems to Improve the Voltage Profile of a Residential Distribution Feeder”.

Professor Wong’s team includes Dr Md Nayim Kabir, Senior Lecturer Yateendra Mishra and Professor Gerard Ledwich from the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Queensland University of Technology, and Professor and Head of School Z.Y. (Joe) Dong from the School of Electrical and Information Engineering at University of Sydney.
