Shuan Hern Lee has recently been performing overseas once again. This time in Yerevan, Armenia where he enjoyed being part of the 5th New Names International Young Musicians Music Festival in June.

At the event's opening ceremony in the Opera House, Shuan Hern performed Tchaikovsky Piano Concerto No. 1 accompanied by the Armenia National Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra with maestro Harut Arz.

He thoroughly enjoyed the limelight, the very supportive crowd, the TV interviews and the wonderful orchestra as well as receiving gifts from the First Lady of Armenia!

Shuan Hern also performed two more solo recitals and Mozart Piano Concerto K414 with the Armenia Chamber Orchestra. This is the first time an Australian pianist has been invited to perform in this festival, which has been taking place for 26 years and became international five years ago. Well done, Shuan Hern!
