The Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research needs your help in raising awareness for cancer research. Western Australia’s premier adult medical research institute is running two major events to drum up support and funds for developing cutting edge technologies and new effective cancer treatments.

The MACA Ride to Conquer Cancer (17-18 October 2015) is for anyone who wants to challenge themselves for a great cause. All you need is motivation, a bike and a helmet. You’ll Ride out of Perth with a renewed sense of purpose, as you follow the winding route through dynamic Western Australian landscapes. After camping overnight with all the amenities, your unforgettable journey ends with a Finish Line Celebration!

The Weekend to End Women’s Cancers (28-29 March 2016) is standing as Western Australia’s largest fundraising walk for women’s cancers. Funds raised support life-saving research for breast and ovarian cancers in WA.

In recent years, both events combined have raised almost $17 million for cancer research. To find out how you can get involved, come along to the following information sessions:
