The University is committed to the ongoing development of professional and general staff with an increase in the financial support available to professional staff through the Professional Staff Development Grants. Funding of up to $1,500 to support professional development activities (up to $3,000 for technical-related development) is available with applications for final round of 2015 opening on 6 July 2015 and closing 18 September 2015. In addition, the unique opportunity for an ongoing/tenured UWA staff member to undertake a full-time MBA through the UWA Business School with fees for the program fully waived was recently announced in UWA Forward. The successful applicant’s position will also be held open for a year whilst they take up this opportunity. Further information is available online with applications closing 3 August 2015.
