Dear Colleagues,

Qualtrics, the online survey tool, has been available to UWA staff and students for some years now.  Until this year, the University subscribed to Qualtrics on a year-by-year basis. User feedback has been very positive and I am pleased to advise that the University has now made a longer-term commitment to Qualtrics. Projects lasting several years can be conducted with the assurance that this utility will be available for the duration of the project.

For those not familiar with Qualtrics, it is available to UWA staff, and UWA students with staff approval, for the conduct of surveys.  Entry to the UWA Qualtrics site https://uwa.qualtrics.com is by Pheme login.  The tool is provided on a do-it-yourself basis but Qualtrics provides excellent online support.  Internal support is limited to BITS for help with your Pheme account ( [email protected] ) and the Institutional Research Unit for administrative requests such as changing user permissions ( [email protected] ).  There is more information about Qualtrics at: https://ipoint.uwa.edu.au/app/answers/detail/a_id/1620/~/qualtrics-explained
