The University provides a range of orientation sessions to guide staff new to the University.  These sessions are also of value to existing staff seeking an update on current University directions, services and policy.

Supervisors and Managers are asked to promote these events widely to new staff and to emphasise their importance in providing an effective means of orientation to University practice and policy.

The traditional half day Staff Orientation will continue to provide an overview of UWA’s general context and broad features.  This is scheduled for Tuesday 21st July 2015 at the University Club Banquet Hall.  Registration will commence at 8.30am and the program will conclude at 12 noon.

The general orientation session includes morning tea and an information fair promoting a range of staff services and an optional tour of the University.  It is anticipated that all new staff will attend the Staff Orientation.
