For many years our school has consistently been recognised for the quality of our teachers and our teaching. The recognition of our teaching colleagues at the annual Faculty Excellence in Teaching awards continues this tradition of outstanding achievement.

It’s also very satisfying that colleagues across all disciplines within the School have been recognised.

Please join with us in congratulating:

  • Dr Karen Martin - Nominee: Research Supervision
  • Prof Jane Heyworth - Winner: Research Supervision
  • Dr Carolyn Johnson - Nominee: Small Group Teaching on Campus
  • Asst/Prof Helen Dugmore - Winner: Small Group Teaching in a Clinical/Practicum Setting (UWA Staff)
  • Assoc/Prof Rosemary Saunders, Assoc/Prof Helene Metcalfe, Asst/Prof Helen Dugmore & Ms Leisa Smith - Nominee, Team Teaching

Additionally, two of our practicum students from last year nominated Ms Sue Darby in recognition of the support she provided whilst they were on prac, and it was well deserved that Sue was announced the winner in her category.

Congratulations to all!
