Work commenced on Monday 11 May on a refurbishment project in the Physics Building (245). The work will take place in the basement level and is expected to last for approximately 10 weeks.

The project will involve the refurbishment of room B42 and the subsequent installation of new equipment.

During the works, an entrance located on the west-side of the building will be closed and an alternate entrance will be signposted. The area surrounding this entrance will be securely fenced off.

There may be some noise impact to the building occupants, particularly for the Centre for Learning Technology, who are located directly above on the ground floor of the building. However, where possible, the contractor will make every effort to minimise noise disruption.
