The Academic Workload Advisory Committee held its first meeting on 5 May 2015. The Committee agreed on a draft Terms of Reference and its ongoing membership (see below).

The Committee will initially focus on reviewing the existing policy, principles and guidance for Workload Models, assessing the operational fit and application of current metrics. Ideally any recommendations will be put in place prior to the commencement of Semester 1, 2016.

We will keep all Academics informed on progress and provide an opportunity for consultation on any recommendations. If you do have any questions, please contact any member of the committee.

As always, any individual workload issues should continue to be raised with the Head of Academic Unit who will attempt to agree on an appropriate workload through consultation.
