Four Scholarships are up for Grabs to the 2015 Australian Literacy Educators' Association (ALEA) and Australian Association for the Teaching of English (AATE) National Conference (3 - 6 July 2015).

The conference will be held in Canberra and includes an incredible line up of Australian and international key note speakers such as authors David Malouf, the "2 sisters" Gail Boushey and Joan Moser plus theatre personality John Bell.

The Australian Literacy Educators’ Association Perth Local Council are offering scholarships to four lucky Western Australians. There are two scholarships of $1000 each for regional/remote graduate teachers and two scholarships of $500 each for metropolitan/outer metropolitan graduate teachers.

Those interested are required to submit a written statement in response to a series of selection criteria points by no later than 5pm, Friday 22nd May 2015.

Scholarship are open to graduate teachers across all sectors and applicants must be prepared to become financial members of ALEA.
