The University of Western Australia's Faculty of Engineering, Computing and Mathematics recently hosted the annual Faculty Prizes Breakfast, honouring the brightest students for their successes within the 2014 academic year.

The event celebrates the hard work and exceptional achievements of our talented students and allows an opportunity for prize winners to meet with their donors and special guests. It was a pleasure to see so many people celebrating the hard work and outstanding achievements of our exceptional cohort of students.

Many thanks are given to Celeste Savanyo, a UWA engineering alumni and previous prize winner of the Western Power Prize, who spoke about her experiences and memories from her time studying at UWA. She recognised that being a prize winner gave acknowledgement of her achievements and abilities and went on to offer her advice to current student winners that they should treasure this accomplishment.

UWA Engineering Student, Clough Scholar and recipient of three prizes, Joel Valli also gave a speech on what the prizes mean from a current student perspective.

The Faculty would like to thank all our generous prize donors for their support and congratulate all the prize recipients.

A full list of prize winners and donors can be viewed in the Prizes Breakfast Program 2015 .
