The University Medical Centre flu clinics began on Monday, April 27th 2015.

If you wish to be vaccinated at the UWA Medical Centre:

1.    Ring to make an appointment on 6488 2118 or book online https://www.student.uwa.edu.au/life/health/medical-centre

2.    Bring your Medicare card (staff will be bulk billed for this service) and $20 cash to cover the cost of the vaccine.

Under the National Immunisation Program, the following are eligible to receive a free vaccine:
All pregnant women, over 65 year olds, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders aged 15 years and over, children aged six months and younger than five years and patients with chronic medical conditions namely:
Cardiac disease
Chronic respiratory condition
Chronic illnesses requiring regular medical follow-up or hospitalisation in the preceding year
Chronic neurological conditions
People with impaired immunity
Children aged six months to 10 years receiving long term aspirin therapy.
