Engineering experts from The University of Western Australia will present to a world class gathering of oil and gas industry professionals as they come together for two days of insight, debate and discussion at the annual Perth-based Australasian Oil and Gas Exhibition & Conference (AOG) , held from 11-13 March 2015.

Internationally renowned for their offshore and ocean engineering research, UWA experts contribute significantly to the conference program - four UWA engineering researchers including Professor David White, Shell EMI Chair in Offshore Engineering, will present on topics such as FLNG, remote operations, subsea and more.

In addition, UWA's Faculty of Engineering, Computing and Mathematics will have an exhibition stand at the conference and is supporting two key student networking events:

An AOG Graduate Careers Day , sponsored by UWA, will create a unique opportunity for students and recent graduates to meet face-to-face with potential employers and find out what employers are looking for, the career opportunities they offer and how to get ahead in this dynamic and fast-growing industry.

An AOG Women High Tea will provide  an afternoon of networking and inspiration for women in the oil and gas sector, including a key note speech and a discussion panel on issues impacting the growing number of women leading the oil and gas industry.

AOG is expected to attract over 600 exhibitors from more than 20 countries, and draw more than 15,000 visitors from around the world.
