This year's Perth Writers Festival features a fantastic line-up of international and Australian writers and performers.

Several of The University of Western Australia's alumni are included in the 2015 program including leading authors Geraldine Doogue, Deb Fitzpatrick and Richard Rossiter.

Geraldine Doogue ( The Climb: Conversations with Australian Women in Power ) is a renowned Australian journalist and broadcaster. She speaks alongside Mary Delahunty about the way women are represented in the top levels of power in Australia at the Octagon Theatre on Sunday 22 February.

Deb Fitzpatrick ( The Amazing Spencer Gray) lives and works in Fremantle and has a Master of Arts (Creative Writing) from UWA. She will speak to Meri Fatin about her new novel in the Romeo Tent on Friday 20 February.

Richard Rossiter ( Arrhythmia: Stories of Desire) will be presenting at a free event at the Woolnough Lecture Theatre on Saturday 21 February. He discusses his new novella which is a poetic exploration of identity and family, and the relationships between parents and children.

Other UWA graduates presenting at the festival are Annabel Smith , Davina Bell , Geraldine Wooller , Joan London and Dianne Wolfer .
