Engineering and project services company Clough will sponsor a prestigious new scholarship for the UWA Business School's MBA Full Time students.

A new five-year agreement between Clough and the UWA Business School will see Clough become a Supporting Corporate Partner of the School.

As part of the agreement, Clough will sponsor a $20,000 MBA Full Time scholarship, with the first scholarship to be awarded to a member of the inaugural MBA Full Time cohort in 2015.

In addition, Clough will be eligible to take part in a range of activities, including:

  • Hosting boardroom lunches for MBA Full Time students
  • Mentoring MBA Full Time students
  • Hosting a group of MBA Full Time students as they complete a real-life business advisory project

Dean of the UWA Business School, Winthrop Professor Phil Dolan, welcomed Clough's support.

"Our new agreement with Clough will give MBA Full Time students the opportunity to gain valuable insights into a successful international company as well as the wider engineering and construction industry," he said.

"We are pleased to welcome Clough as a Supporting Corporate Partner of the Business School."

Clough CEO and Managing Director Kevin Gallagher said the company's executives and management team were looking forward to interacting with the UWA Business School's inaugural MBA Full Time students.

"This partnership is a fantastic way for us to nurture the State's future business leaders," Mr Gallagher said.
