Congratulations to Frank and team on winning their NHMRC project grant.

The School of Population Health congratulates Frank Sanfilippo along with his colleagues Matthew Knuiman, Lee Nedkoff and Michael Hobbs from our School, and Joseph Hung (School of Medicine and Pharmacology UWA), Sushma Mathur (Deakin University) and John Beilby (School of Pathology and Lab Medicine UWA) on their success in obtaining an NHMRC project grant. Their grant is titled "Is the incidence of heart attack still decreasing in Australia? Developing more reliable methods for monitoring trends in myocardial infarction and coronary heart disease" and commences in 2015.

This is a great achievement at any time, but particularly so at the moment with declining success rates. Congratulations Frank and team!
