The Warren Centre's Innovation Lecture, Beyond Earth, will be presented by Enrico Palermo, a UWA graduate and Vice President, Operations, for Virgin Galactic's The Spaceship Company.

Enrico graduated from UWA with a Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Science and is now instrumental in the delivery of SpaceClass, leading the launch program for SpaceShipTwo, the world's first commercial space line with Virgin Galactic. He is the engineer responsible for running spaceship development activities.

Joining Virgin Galactic in 2006, Enrico was one of the first ten full-time employees and the first engineer hired. He led the growth of TSC’s operations from a business plan concept to a fully-fledged spaceship assembly and test operation spanning three facilities with extensive capabilities and over 270 team members.

The Warren Centre and UWA are proud to host this Innovation Lecture, as Enrico shares his experience of how his engineering skills have enabled him to engage in different industries and roles, from Perth via the International Space University to California.

The lecture will start at 5.45pm on Monday 8 September at the UniClub WA Auditorium. For more information and bookings visit the UWA’s event listing .
