The Hon Peter Collier MLC , WA Minister for Aboriginal Affairs; Nyunggai Warren Mundine , Chairman of the Prime Minister's Indigenous Advisory Council; and Indigenous celebrity chef Mark Olive will be among the speakers at the Indigenous Business, Enterprise and Corporations Conference (IBECC) 2014.

Hosted by the Centre for Social Impact at The University of Western Australia Business School, the two-day conference will bring together more than 100 speakers and 400 delegates from across Indigenous business, government, industry, social enterprise and academia.

Delegates will explore: best practice in Indigenous business; pathways for young business and community leaders; corporate partnerships; business and economic developing in communities; driving change; and cross-sector knowledge. The conference will also include pop-up stalls, workshops, business-to-business sessions and pitches, roundtables and Q&A sessions.

Director of the UWA Business School Centre for Social Impact, Winthrop Professor Paul Flatau, said the conference would foster a positive environment for Indigenous business.

"IBECC has gained a reputation for attracting leading policy makers, practitioners and academics in Indigenous business from around Australia," Professor Flatau said.

"IBECC 2014 will continue this practice, sharing ideas and experiences which will shape public policy and be a positive influence on the Indigenous business sector."

IBECC 2014 is jointly hosted by the UWA Business School and School of Indigenous Studies at UWA.

IBECC 2014 will be held on Monday 1 December and Tuesday 2 December 2014 at the UWA Business School.
