If you’ve ever wanted to master the full range of concepts, methods, and practices involved in the specialised field of architectural conservation, the Faculty will be offering a new Graduate Certificate in Architectural Conservation starting in 2015.
Provided by qualified and experienced conservation practitioners, the course provides the opportunity for those interested in entering or already working in this specialized field, to develop their knowledge and skills in this area.

This graduate certificate covers all aspects of architectural conservation from the international to the local level, and aims to develop professional level skills in conservation planning and in practical building conservation.

The complete certificate comprises four units, with a maximum of two units per semester and as such is only available part-time. The units are as follows:

  • Introduction to Architectural Conservation
  • Practical Building Conservation
  • Conservation in Cultural Landscapes, Historic Towns and Urban Precincts
  • Conservation Planning in Practice
