WASAC Committee member and organiser of the Art exhibition, Marlia Fatnowna, commented,

“Marnda week is something that we can be so proud of as Indigenous students at UWA. It is a time when we can celebrate who we are, our culture and our presence as students. Seeing everyone come together to appreciate and acknowledge what we have to offer is something so special and it keeps getting better each year.”
