The University of Western Australia Business School and global financial services company UBS have announced a new three-year partnership agreement.

Under the new agreement, UBS will be recognised as a Major Corporate Partner of the UWA Business School .

Among the partnership outcomes will be various thought leadership events, including a series of Breakfast by the Bay events open to the public and exclusive Leaders' Luncheons for the business community.

The UBS-UWA Business School partnership will also provide support for a number of professional development activities for the School's students.

Dean of the UWA Business School, Winthrop Professor Phil Dolan, said the partnership would help enrich the student experience.

"We are very pleased to be entering into this partnership with UBS, which will provide outstanding learning and networking opportunities for all our students, and particularly those interested in pursuing careers in finance," he said.

UBS AG Australia Branch Senior Advisor Neil Hamilton said the company was "delighted to support the Business School and the great work they are doing.

"Our involvement in this partnership is a reflection of our strong commitment to the WA market. We think one of the best ways we can do that is to support the development of excellence in the next generation of the State's business leaders," he said.
