If you're already counting down the days and looking for a fun way to spend the April school holidays, or would simply love the opportunity to get a sneak-peek into your future life as a uni student at UWA, why not register for one of our ‘Day in the Life of...' events?

If you love playing music, singing, or even composing your own tunes, our ‘ Day in the Life of a Music Student ' is for you! You'll be able to find out more about how you can incorporate music into your degree at UWA and participate in a variety of interactive workshops. You will also have the opportunity to learn from our experienced School of Music staff, and observe (or even practice with) current Music students.

If you are a budding designer, or wish to find out more about the creative world of urban and regional development, you may wish to attend a ‘ Day in the Life of a Landscape Architecture Student '. Not only will you learn just what is involved in studying Landscape Architecture from the experts, you will participate in design studios and work with current Landscape Architecture students.

Both activities will be held on Monday, 14 April in the first week of the April School Holidays (unfortunately this means you will have to choose to participate in one or the other!)

Online registrations will open soon, but in the meantime, you can choose to register your interest in attending any of our 2014 ‘Day in the Life of...' events.

Be sure to also save the date (and register your interest) for our July school holiday ‘Day in the Life of...' activities:

  • A Day in the Life of an Architecture student, 9 July
  • A Day in the Life of a Chemistry student, 10 July
  • A Day in the Life of an Engineering Science student, 15 July
  • A Day in the Life of a Business Student, 16 July

Note: all of the above activities are available to Year 11 and 12 students, with the exception of 'A Day in the Life of an Engineering Science student' which is aimed at students in Years 10 to 11 (although Year 12 students are also welcome to attend).
