The April school holidays aren't that far away (already). If your students are looking for a fun way to spend the day or would love the opportunity to get a sneak-peek into their future life as a uni student at UWA, encourage them to register for one of our ‘Day in the Life' events!

Students who love playing music, singing, or even composing their own tunes, will enjoy our Day in the Life of a Music Student .' They'll be able to find out more about how they can incorporate music into their degree at UWA and participate in a variety of interactive workshops. They will also have the opportunity to learn from our experienced School of Music staff, and observe (or even practice with) current Music students.

Budding designers, or those keen to find out more about the creative world of urban and regional development may wish to attend a Day in the Life of a Landscape Architecture Student ' . Not only will they learn just what is involved in studying Landscape Architecture from the experts, they will participate in design studios and work with current Landscape Architecture students.

Both of the above activities are aimed at Year 11 and 12 students and will be held on Monday, 14 April in the first week of the April School Holidays.

Online registrations will open soon, but in the meantime, students can register their interest in attending any of our 2014 ‘Day in the Life of...' events.

Ensure they also save the date for our July school holiday ‘Day in the Life of...' activities:

  • A Day in the Life of an Architecture student, 9 July
  • A Day in the Life of a Chemistry student, 10 July
  • A Day in the Life of an Engineering Science student, 15 July
  • A Day in the Life of a Business Student, 16 July

Note: all of the above activities are available to Year 11 and 12 students, with the exception of 'A Day in the Life of an Engineering Science student' which is aimed at students in Years 10 to 11 (although Year 12 students are also welcome to attend).
