UWA Business School honours student Stephen Ingram has won a prestigious award for his research in resources economics.

Stephen's honours dissertation, titled "Commodity Price Cycles: Theory and Measurement," was chosen as this year's winner of the Australian Agricultural and Resource Economics Society (AARES) WA Branch's Undergraduate Award .

The award is presented to an undergraduate student in Western Australia who has demonstrated merit in agricultural or resource economics.

As part of his prize, Stephen received one year's membership to AARES, a subscription to the Australian Journal of Agricultural and Resource Economics , and a choice of attendance at the AARES Annual Conference or a $200 cash prize.

Stephen's honours supervisor was Winthrop Professor Ken Clements.
