Dr Gemma Cadby, from the Centre for Genetic Origins of Health and Disease (GOHaD), has been awarded $10,000 from the Healy Research Collaboration Award scheme to attend the International Genetic Epidemiology Society conference, the Genetic Analysis Workshop, and to help promote a successful collaboration between researchers from UWA and the Texas Biomedical Research Institute. The collaboration aims to identify genetic variants associated with cardiovascular disease in families from the Busselton Health Study.
