Nina McCarthy and Sarah Ward from the Centre for Genetic Origins of Health and Disease (GOHaD) attended the week-long, Wellcome Trust Advanced course ‘ Human Genome Analysis: Genetic Analysis of Multifactorial Diseases ’. The course was held at the Wellcome Trust Genome Campus, Hinxton, Cambridge . It covered a wide range of analysis techniques and theory pertaining to genetic analysis of complex disease, taught by an international panel of field experts and featured five high-profile guest lecturers. It was attended by 20 PhD and postdoctoral scientists from Australia, Europe, the US and South America.
