/Fractions/
is an exhibition of works by artist and UWA Bachelor of Fine Arts (Hons) graduate Chris Lawrence exploring the texture of electronic noise as it breaks down, shifts and distorts the transmitted image. Working across mediums he borrows from the digital to reinvigorate painting by reinterpreting accidents and misencodings into a visceral form.
Showing at Art Laab, the exhibition of 15 new works opens on Friday 2 August at 6pm.
