The power of two million candles transformed landmark Winthrop Hall into a kaleidoscope of colour and sound on Friday evening (February 8) for UWA LUMINOUSnight, a public celebration of art and culture to launch The University of Western Australia's 2013 Centenary year .

The 20-minute spectacular LUMINOUShall light show was made possible by ten specially imported projectors - each ten times more powerful than an outdoor cinema - and presented a feast of animated story-telling imagery onto Winthrop Hall's north façade.

If you were unable to attend, or wish to experience the spectacle again, a recording of LUMINOUShall is now available online.

Refer to the UWA Centenary website for further information.
