UWA students will be promoting reconciliation with a short film night celebrating Indigenous culture.

SIFE ICEA Movie Night is jointly organised by the Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) UWA team, based at the UWA Business School , and the Indigenous Communities Education & Awareness (ICEA) Foundation.

The evening will feature a fundraising barbeque, live Indigenous band, selection of Indigenous short films, Aboriginal dancers, and raffle of a digital camera.

SIFE UWA is a team of UWA students who aim to empower local and international communities and improve their quality of life through entrepreneurial and educational outreach projects.

The ICEA Foundation is a youth-driven not-for-profit organisation that works closely with young people in remote Indigenous communities in North Western Australia and high schools in the Perth metropolitan area. ICEA's overarching purpose is to achieve reconciliation, through mutual respect for all Australians.

SIFE ICEA Movie Night will be held on Thursday, 1 November 2012 at 6:00pm on UWA's Oak Lawn.

Tickets are available for $5 and can be purchased on the Oak Lawn between noon and 2:00opm on Thursday, 1 November, or on the night (subject to availability).
