The Faculty of Engineering, Computing and Mathematics invites you to attend the final ‘Becoming an Engineer with UWA’ information evening for 2012, taking place on Wednesday 28 November at 6pm .

The session is suitable for high school students (and their parents) considering their university study options, as well as people wishing to re-skill or up-skill. Topics to be discussed include:

  • UWA's New Courses (including the Engineering Science undergraduate major and the Master of Professional Engineering postgraduate degree)
  • Engineering course advice, including prerequisites
  • Career options
  • The types of engineering available to study (Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering and Software Engineering)
  • Entry pathways available
  • How to apply

You will have the opportunity to talk with Faculty staff to discuss your study and career options, and to answer any questions that you may have. Free refreshments will be provided and all are welcome.
