The University of Western Australia is completing construction on the new student accommodation at Currie Hall. From 2013, more students will be able to experience the unique collegiate community of UWA's own Hall of Residence and the many benefits of living on-campus. This could be you!

The new development commenced in late 2011 and comprises of 515 new studio and one bedroom apartments with modern furnishings. All rooms are private, secure, air-conditioned and fully self-contained meaning that you have your own kitchen, bathroom and, in many cases, a balcony. The new rooms and facilities will be available for you to enjoy from Semester 1, 2013.

There are also many other new facilities including:

• media, music and games rooms
• a café
• undercroft car parking
• secure bicycle storage
• multiple common rooms and alfresco areas

This is in addition to the existing benefits which include; unlimited access to high speed internet, membership to the UWA sports centre, 24 hour security, cleaning services, catering, access to academic and other Hall programs as well as social events and functions.

By living on-campus all UWA facilities, such as the libraries, are just a short stroll away. The experiences and friendships you make while living on-campus will be some that you treasure for many years.
