Is your son or daughter going into Year 12 in 2012? Are they a keen or aspiring designer? The Faculty of Architecture, Landscape Architecture and Visual Arts’ is calling for applications for their Annual ALVA Summer Studio. Places are limited with applications closing on 16 December 2011.

This year's Summer Studio was a giant success, with year 12 students from as far away as Albany and Broome participating in the event. A video of the event and what the students produced can be found here .

The next Summer Studio will be held from 16 – 19 January 2012 from 9.00am - 3.00pm daily. It is for all high school students who will be entering year 12 in 2012 and are interested in Architecture, Landscape Architecture or Integrated Design.

Summer Studio 2012 will culminate with an exhibition of all students' work, on January 19. The exhibition will run from 2:30pm to 3:30pm in the ALVA Faculty's Cullity Gallery, and parents are encouraged to attend.

The cost is $220 per student; however, fees may be waived if students attend an Aspire UWA partner school . For more information in applying as an Aspire student, please contact Ciaron Acton .

Places are limited. If your son or daughter wishes to participate, be sure to apply online before 16 December 2011.
