On June 23, the Graduate School of Education hosted its first ever alumni cocktail party at ‘The Boat Shed’ on Matilda Bay.
The party was hosted by Winthrop Professor Helen Wildy, Dean of Education, and was attended by the Vice Chancellor, Winthrop Professor Alan Robson CitWA along with staff and 60 recent graduates of the GSE.
The theme for the party was “Celebrating Teachers” and this theme was amply underscored by a speech given by 2010 Beginning Teacher of the Year recipient and UWA Ambassador, Luke Chapman (photo).
