Attention Researchers

Open Access Week runs from 24 October to 30 October 2011.

Open Access is free, immediate, online access to the results of publicly funded scholarly research, and the right to use and re-use those results.

To help UWA Information Services better understand your views on Open Access we invite you to participate in an online survey that will take approximately 5 minutes to complete.

To encourage you to participate we are offering an incentive to all respondents who complete the survey in the form of a $75 Coles Myer voucher which is redeemable at Coles, Myer, Target, Liquorland and Vintage Cellars. To go into the draw for the prize please complete the survey and provide us with your email address.

The survey is now live and will run until 4 November 2011.

Your participation in this survey is voluntary. If you agree to participate, you can withdraw at any time however once you have submitted the online survey it will not be possible to withdraw. Your decision to participate will in no way impact upon your current or future relationship with UWA.

Benefits
This survey will benefit you as an author by providing UWA with information which we can then use to provide authors and UWA with the tools to better manage Open Content.

Confidentiality
All comments and responses are anonymous; however, we do reserve the right to include open ended comments as part of our final report. The names of individual persons are not required in any of the responses and therefore your confidentiality is assured. Please note, no comments or responses will be linked to the email address which you will provide to enter into the prize draw and therefore your confidentiality is assured.
