From now until 10 November, a selection of maps from the UWA Map Collection are on display in the Science Library Foyer.
The selection highlights the range of maps of the Perth metropolitan area that are held in the Library, including a number of speculative real estate promotional maps from the early twentieth century, a set of initial suburban subdivision maps published in 1903, and newer maps of Perth. We invite you to come in and see how Perth looks today, compared with these early views.
The Library's Maps Collection is located on the second floor of the Science Library, and maps are available for viewing and borrowing by all students and staff.
