Congratulations to Peter Metaxas, who has been awarded a prestigious American Australian Association Fellowship.
The American Australian Association awards 15 fellowships to leading Australian postgraduate scholars to undertake research and study on environmental sustainability, engineering and medicine at prestigious American institutions.
Peter’s project will focus on using a revolutionary material known as grapheme for the detection of bio-molecules.
It’s hoped this research will provide a pathway towards the realisation of a new generation of sophisticated medical diagnostics devices and will build on Peter’s prior experience in nano-fabrication and electrical measurements.
