Students studying any of the five undergraduate degrees at UWA will be able to take units in the new Korean language program.

Korea is playing an increasingly significant role on the world stage and knowledge of the Korean language and culture will be a valuable asset in gaining employment. The Korean units are available as broadening units or elective units to all students. The combination of Korean with a major in another discipline makes it easy to include Korean units to any undergraduate degree they choose to study. They will also have the opportunity to undertake part of their language study at Korea's leading university, Seoul National University.  For further information contact: [email protected] .

UWA teaches nine different languages: French , German , Italian , Indonesian , Japanese , Korean, Mandarin , Ancient Greek and Latin. All these languages can be taken as a broadening unit (and will fulfil the Catergory A broadening unit requirement) or an elective as part of their major. Students can expand their horizons with another language!
