Interested in taking your career to the next level? Achieve a faster rise to the top anywhere in the world with further study at UWA.

Students in years 10 - 12 may be interested in UWA's Postgrad and Honours Expo, happening on the 5 th of October. As many of our degrees are now at a postgraduate level, it may be valuable to learn more about their chosen area of study.

There will be sessions on admissions into the postgraduate Medicine, Dentistry, Engineering and Law programs, as well as more information on studying Forensic Science, Education, Journalism or Architecture at UWA. There will also be a New Courses 2012 information session, for those that may have missed out on Open Day.

The speakers are well renowned in their field, such as the Master of Journalism speaker, Peter van Onselen, the Foundation Professor of Journalism at UWA. He is a Contributing Editor to The Australian newspaper, presenter at Sky News where he hosts it's flagship Sunday morning political program Australian Agenda, and author of four books - including the best selling biography John Winston Howard: The Biography .

The postgraduate education speaker, Robert Faulkner has had an extensive history spanning almost 30 years, teaching at every level of education from pre-Kindy through primary and secondary to tertiary education. He is a writer of national curriculum, a former deputy chair of a national music examinations board and has given keynotes, papers and workshops in England, Northern Ireland, Denmark, Sweden, Iceland, the USA, Canada and Australia.

For parents who may be interested in further study themselves, this will be a good opportunity to see whether there is a postgraduate course that is suited to you.

The Postgrad and Honours Expo will be held on 5 October, 2011 at The University Club. The expo starts at 4pm and finishes at 8pm. For more information on seminar times, or to register for a seminar please go to www.uwa.edu.au/postgradexpo or click here . You can register for a seminar by clicking the title of each session.
