The Climate Commission will release its report The Critical Decade, Western Australian Climate Change Impacts at The University of Western Australia next Tuesday.

The report provides a snapshot of changes in the climate that can be expected in Western Australia and the South West of the State in particular.

The Climate Commission is an independent body which seeks to provide authoritative information on climate change science and solutions to the general public.  The Commission is led by former Australian of the Year Tim Flannery, and includes internationally renowned scientists and business leaders.

WHAT: Launch of Climate Commission Report on WA

WHEN: 10am, Tuesday, August 16, 2011

WHERE: Prescott Room, Vice-Chancellery, The University of Western Australia, Crawley (nearest entrance:  main entrance off intersection of Winthrop Avenue, Stirling Highway/Mounts Bay Road).
