Associate Professor Grace Oakley was the key speaker at a professional development evening with Australian Literacy Educators' Association (ALEA) colleagues to present the major themes from her recent publication, Language, Literacy and Early Childhood Education (2010).
This is a highly regarded and much lauded text for the teaching of literacy in early childhood settings.
