The 2011 Faculty of Education Prize Giving Ceremony was held on Tuesday June 14 at the University Club of Western Australia.  This ceremony provided the opportunity for students, their families, staff and interested education colleagues to celebrate the high caliber of our graduating students.

Jennifer Stephen, a 2010 graduate from the Master of Teaching (Primary) gave a very lively description of student teacher life at UWA and the joys of being an art specialist at Parkwood primary school.

The Minister for Education, the Hon Dr Elizabeth Constable in her address highlighted the importance of quality teachers and the difference they make to the educational opportunities for students. She confirmed her strong connection with UWA and her commitment to supporting the< Master of Teaching courses at UWA.

We congratulate all our graduates and wish them well in their teaching careers.
