UWA Publishing is delighted to have six writers in the Sydney Writers' Festival in May, 2011.

The festival will feature Suzanne Falkiner's biography of English writer E. L. Grant Watson, published in 2011.

The Imago: E. L. Grant Watson and Australia is a revealing portrait of a singular and intriguing writer who was a pioneer of literary themes explored decades later by Katharine Susannah Prichard, Randolph Stow and Patrick White.

The festival will also feature authors Pamela Burton ( From Moree to Mabo: The Mary Gaudron Story ), Catherine Cole ( The Perfume River: Writing from Vietnam , and The Poet Who Forgot ), Kate Lilley ( Selected Poems of Dorothy Hewett ), Sue Woolfe ( The Secret Cure , and The Mystery of the Cleaning Lady: A Writer Looks at Obsession, Creativity and Neuroscience ), and Fiona McGregor ( Strange Museums: A Journey Through Poland ).
