Luke Chapman has been awarded one of the six inaugural WA Beginning Teacher of the Year Awards by the Department of Education for 2010.

Luke Chapman graduated from the Graduate School of Education, University of Western Australia in 2007 with a Graduate Diploma of Education (Secondary).

On graduating  he took up a position teaching Science at Hampton Senior High School,  a predictable decision given his enduring passion for Science and support of the public education system.

In 2009 Luke was appointed acting head of science and is now inspiring both colleagues and students in science and science education. Congratulations on your wonderful achievement.
