The AMMRF Flagship Ion Probe Facility at the University of Western Australia is now accepting proposals for use of the IMS 1280 ion probe during the first half of 2011.

Unique to the Southern Hemisphere, the IMS 1280 ion probe is optimised for isotope analysis.

Applications must be lodged online and include a short (approximately two page) project description that will be evaluated based-on scientific merit by a panel of international scientific advisors.

Applicants are strongly encouraged to contact the IMS 1280 Manager to discuss technical details prior to submission of proposals.  More information on access to the Ion Probe Facility and the IMS 1280 isotope analysis capabilities are available on the website .

Deadline for applications: 5.00pm (AWST) 15 November 2010.

Applicants will be notified of the outcome by 13 December 2010.
