UWA law students, Raymond Chester-Wallis and Thomas Williams, won 2nd Prize of $500 with a film called: “Law is all around you”.

The competition is run by Oxford University Press and is open to any student currently enrolled in an Australian Law School. Students submit a short film about law or the study of law.

Raymond and Thomas' short film takes a comedic approach towards the everyday study of law. It covers a wide range of legal issues, including breach of confidence, tort of negligence and defamation. While humorous in nature it carries the serious message that law is all around and that we should live it, learn it, love it.

The film is available for viewing at www.oup.com.au/law
